A few of the benefits of tai chi, yoga and meditation
- Relieve stress and promote inner peace
- Deeper calmness and overall sense of well being
- More efficient breathing
- Improved balance and lower risk of falls
- Increased strength, coordination and flexibility
- A boost in energy, stamina and agility
- Better quality of sleep
These are just a few of the many benefits of the well-rounded health and fitness program taught at Lake Norman Tai Chi Center. When your health improves and your stress is reduced you’ll see changes throughout your life. You’ll have more patience and will be measured in your response to stimuli around you. This is good for your personal and professional relationships, and good for your mental and physical health. With a focused mind and improved physical health, you’ll find you have more energy, more creativity, and you may find that you delight in things that perhaps you’ve lost the energy for. Certainly, the fact that you are investing in your own well-being will benefit your self-confidence.

What our students are saying
I have dislocated one hip 4 times, because I was careless. Likely I would have had to have had it replaced without tai chi to help with the strengthening (the surgeon threatened that) and constant reminders to be fully aware of what we're doing. Breathing exercises and meditation have been emotional and mental life-savers, if not physically, and those I do use daily!
Pat Blackwell, 81, Mooresville NC Read what else our students are saying about usThe classes have developed into a regular exercise/meditation regime. I have dropped 10 1lbs of excess weight and put on 5 lbs of muscle. My balance is better, my heart rate is better, my blood pressure is better. My mind is beginning to be more calm.
